MAS rejection question

Success! My app got approved for the MAS last night. Thanks again for all the assistance.

Congratulations!

Your job is finished yet thou, the fun part is…

  1. if you haven’t already make sure you have a great website and time limited version on your site. I find that we get some customer who find it on the App Store, then connect over to our site to get the free trial.

  2. Create a cut down version that allows App Store customers to use the core functionality, but in a way that still leaves them wishing for more. This is actually very hard to do, because if you give too much away for FREE, people won’t buy and if you give too little, people walk away.

  3. Start work on a Windows version. Take advantage of Michel’s experience with the Windows Store and Amazon.

  4. For future proofing on the Apple platform, start thinking about supporting iOS. Project Marzipan coming this year will make macOS development redundant as iOS apps will work on macOS computers.

Don’t forget MacUpdate and other Mac Blogs, also contact some bundle sites to see if they’ll be interested in having your application in their bundles.

Good luck and keep going.
