Is there a way to search for the locked topics?
I dunno, I just get a strange urge to listen in to people arguing in a sort of hiding behind the wall shouting “go on Terry, 'it 'im!” kind of way.

Just on a whim, I tried “#locked”. That did the trick.
Don’t follow through on the urge. It’s a trap leading to wasted time and recursive arguing. Not worth it. Before they are locked many of us get sucked in before it’s too late! 
You see - that’s why I’m not destined for greatness.
I don’t think to try things like that.
