Listbox first row??

Wow - I’ve been away from Xojo far too long :frowning:
Can someone please remind me how I refer to the very first row of a listbox?

I’m trying to recolour the text of only the first row to red, but I simply cannot remember what property to refer to?
I looked in the LR, and still couldn’t work it out :frowning:

Thank you all in advance.

Hi Richard, use g.ForeColor to set the color and and g.FillRect 0, 0, g.Width, g.Height in the CellBackground event.

Merv, the part I don’t know is how to colour the text only in the very first row

If row < 1 Then …

Just curious does foreColour work as well?

Oh, text… sorry… CellTextPaint event. The event for me is ForeColor. I was just curious if it accepted the UK spelling of colour as in g.ForeColour, you listed that earlier in the thread.

Thanks Merv,
row wasn’t in the LR, that’s what had me perplexed

Richard, you were probably looking for “row” in the wrong place. Row and Column are two the properties passed in to the CellTextPaint event. It is fun how much you forget when not using Xojo for a period of time. I am in that same situation at the moment.

I was looking under listbox in the original LR pages
I have so much going on in my head at the moment, it’s almost impossible for me to get back into Xojo.
