I wanted to like the movie, and Kutcher did look and sound rather like Jobs, but I thought the whole thing was put together in an amateur fashion. It was as if someone had made a list of 100 things (anecdotes, quotes etc) that just had to be squeezed in to any movie about Jobs. It needed an editor and someone else to play Woz.
Maybe. Well, in a cinema landscape where gore and murders are everywhere along with people having a cretin IQ, sometimes the Jobs story is quite refreshing…
There’s an old PBS series, Triumph of the Nerds - it was made when Apple was in its death throes, before Jobs returned. It’s fascinating, I think, I’ve watched it several times over the years.
Well said Mr Bujardet. Fancy hollywood making a movie that didnt rely on guns, explosions, murdering or some inane conspiracy theory.
Maybe we are seeing an outbreak of realism.
