Javascript

When you develop a web app, does xojo generate javascript? Can you incorporate javascript into a web app?

Thanks!

Sort of, and yes.

You can even make your own custom web controls with Javascript. Look at the WebSDK documentation in Xojo/Extras/WebSDK/WebControlSDK.pdf and http://webgen.timi.me will help make an empty wrapper.

The Xojo Web framework makes large use of JavaScript to perform its magic. And of course you can have your own JavaScript with ExecuteJavaScript. Or inside WebSDK controls as described by Tim.

Literally just changed it before posting because my .im is expiring in a few weeks and I don’t really care to renew it at the current price for .im and how little I use it.

Give the webpage a refresh, or the direct download link is: http://webgen.timi.me/webgen.zip

The page previously used a url shortener I have to keep track of clicks, but I updated the webpage before posting to have the direct link.
