I think Xojo’s decision to migrate to Xojo: Account Login is a good one.

My question is about account management. I typically have a “business” email that I use for serious stuff, and a different “public” email for public forums, etc…

  • Does this mean I now have a gitlab account?
  • Is it under the same email address as Xojo knows me as?
  • Can I change this?
  • If a person already had a GitLab account under the same email address, is it possible to split off their Xojo tracker into a new account?
  • If a person already had a GitLab account under a different email address, is it possible to merge the 2 accounts so they only have 1 gitlab account?

We are running our own instance of Issues so whether or not you have a gitlab account doesn’t matter. Yes, the email address by default is the same one you use at xojo.com. The email addresses are private and only used for notifications.
