Is there a "how to set up VirtualBox on Windows 10 with a guest of Linux and a shared folder?

Hello all,

Can anyone point me to a current “how to” for setting up VirtualBox on a Windows 10 machine to run Kubuntu as a guest AND to configure a shared folder? I got VirtualBox installed fine, and Kubuntu installed within VirtualBox. My trouble seems to be configuring a shared folder so I can easily pass source code back and forth between the virtual OS and Windows, my main platform.

Any ideas/help would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you,
Tim

Well, the official docs are here:
https://www.virtualbox.org/manual/ch04.html#sharedfolders

I have not been using Kubuntu but Debian and Linux Mint and Shared Folders works. Make sure you have the guest additions installed.

When Guest Additions are added, they also permit copying files and folders back and forth by simple drag and drop.

And most importantly the automatic mounting
