Is there a bug with read and write only properties

I have a global string property that I want to be read only, but I can’t seem to delete the “setter”. “Delete” comes up in the popup menu when right clicking the “Set” method, but it doesn’t actually get deleted.

Am I missing something or should I file a bug report?

Cheers.

Is this a computed property ?
Get & Set always exist - you can’t remove the setter or getter
If you implement the getter but not the setter it will be read only
If you implement the setter but not the getter it will be write only
Implement both & its read / write

Thanks Norman. That must be different from RS, I seem to remember being able to delete the getter/setter. Not a big deal, but it makes it difficult to pick out read only/write only properties in the navigator.

None of the versions of RS that I recall would allow you to delete either getter/setter. They were not active if no code was entered into them, but they were always both included.

Not at all - this hasn’t changed in years
