IPCSocket communication with XOJO IDE

Hello All,

I am using the IDE Scripting to send the DoCommand “BuildApp” to the XOJO IDE and it works as expected. Nevertheless I have the following questions:

1- Is there any way to know whether the DoCommand “BuildApp” failed with compilation errors or succeed? Currently I do it by checking the existence of the build directory with a Timer, but this approach is not reliable.
2- Is there any documentation to know which commands are supported by the XOJO IDE?

You can keep send your IDE script over the IPC socket and then send a NUL to the socket. This will start the script’s execution without requiring you to disconnect from the socket. Any output from the script calling Print will be redirected to the socket, allowing you to communicate build failures back to your program.
