I’ve been trying to upload a small revision to my iOS App WIMS.
I have xcode 26.5 on my MacBook and no other current iOS SDKs. I’m pretty sure that my app is compiled with 26.5, and XoJo manages to produce the relevant files without error, including the final WIMS.ipa package that I need.
However, Transporter keeps rejecting it because it says that it’s compiled with version 18.2. This information is obtained from the intermediate info.plist in the generated WIMS.app archive. I’ve tried jumping through hoops with Gemini and CoPilot to try and rebuild this using a modified info.plist so that it can be accepted but it always fails.

I also tried adding appropriate keys in the XoJo iOS Build Properties list, but as far as I can see, XoJo is ignoring them.

Has anyone got this to work?

I know it’s probably easier to just say buy the latest version of XoJo, but I’m retired now, and I’m not selling my Apps, so I can’t afford to keep a subscription going for XoJo for the odd change.
Sometimes I just feel I should have developed these Apps in the native SDKs instead of paying for XoJo.

Yeah, you need to use Xojo 2025r3 or later instead to overcome the described issue… [Xojo 2025r3 Release Notes — Xojo documentation](https://documentation.xojo.com/resources/release_notes/2025r3.html)

And probably the most current one because other changes introduced by Apple (scenes support among them)

I dont know about the internals, but I **feel** that ‘the SDK to use’ should be a Setting in Xojo.

Apple updates MacOS for free. They update Xcode for free.

Xojo could surely use the new Xcode?

But instead we have to buy a whole new Xojo version (even if no new features are required) , and don’t even get a discount?

I’m wondering if there’s a way to patch XoJo because it almost looks like the 18.2 is hard coded somewhere in the programme itself.

Are there any XoJo config files that I could check?

I also don’t understand why it includes a property list, but then ignores the property keys I placed in there.
