htmlviewer and youtube videos in Mac

I’m trying to load a simple youtube video in a htmlviewer in Mac using loadurl but I get “Blocked Plug-in” as answer.

I understand this is related to flash issues in Mac, is there any alternative available?

I have just found that updating the Flash player it works, but the question remains because I would need to find a way to notify users that they have to update or an alternative method for showing the video.

Youtube also serves HTML5 videos that don’t require flash if it’s not installed. It should recognize this - however I think there should be a way to enforce this.

Yes, this is the way I thought it would work but seems it forces the flash method instead.
