My contribution to the gene pool is complete; my third child was born yesterday morning and he’s our first boy All 9lbs 10oz of him!
He left hospital in a little outfit that says “hello world” on the front, an outfit I’ve brought all my kids home in.
Sorry XojoNews has been quiet for a few days, normal service is now being restored, (in-between changing diapers and looking after my exhausted wife).
CONGRATS GAVIN!!! Enjoy this time my friend!
My wife and I had our second 3 months ago. I wish you well on the nights my good sir :)
We were pretty sure that two kids was enough for us. It probably was - she’s a full-time accountant, I’m a full-time developer (we are the life and soul of parties). But somehow, we decided that just one more was the right number of kids for us They say that boys are easier to manage than girls; we shall see.
We had a girl the first time around and then a boy the second. I can concur with what they say about boys… then again, I am not sure if it is because our paranoia’s subsided from the first child or if having a boy is that much easier.
One pro tip I learned first hand with my son Alex… ALWAYS… I mean ALWAYS use one of those pee pee teepee during diaper changes.
If I ever find free brain cycles to be concerned about the odd number, I’ll just pretend that 3 is actually the Ubound of a zero-based array of my kids. By the time I have debugged this and found the error, the ChangeDiaper or FeedMe threads will have taken over.
