Desktop
In this release, Desktop Edition is getting some neat new classes. GraffitiSVG uses the built-in DesktopHTMLViewer to render SVGs flawlessly to Xojo Picture objects. This has been successfully tested on hundreds of SVGs of varying complexity on Linux, macOS and Windows, making it easier than ever to use SVG content in Xojo. To show off GraffitiSVG, there’s another new Desktop class that makes it simple to create good looking icons from the FontAwesome set! Just pass the type, name, and dimensions to a function and get a Picture.
Along with the many bug fixes you’ve come to expect in any GraffitiSuite release, there have been refinements to GraffitiCalendar, GraffitiDropzone, GraffitiEditor, GraffitiOptionBox, GraffitiTimeline and more!
Mobile
Lacking from GraffitiSuite Mobile Edition for iOS was a radial progress control. This beautiful component uses native coloring for ring or solid representations, and is available now. There are more features to come for this component in the future, undoubtedly, so be sure to open feature requests if you can think of something that’s missing.
Web
Web’s focus was on bug fixes and extending capabilities. You can now do even more with GraffitiGrid using the new DateTime formatter and editor, GraffitiMap now provides additional information about routes, and GraffitiButtonSegment has some powerful new styling capabilities. For the bug fixes, significant work was put in to the DateTimePicker classes making them both more reliable and more powerful, a number of JavaScript deprecation warnings and exceptions were cleaned up, and GraffitiGrid’s built-in search is even better!
