Good Practive (or Kocher ?)

Hi,

I do not know from where this idea comes to my mind, but yesterday I added an HeaderPressed Event and put code there that is not related to Sorting a ListBoxs Column.

Now, after a long sleep (for once), I am asking about is it correct to do that ?

Note: Where else can I interact with the Header ?

PS: I try to be a good (old) boy; when I was young, adults always train me to follow rules, so I feel a bit guilty (and scared of a future change that will crash my code).

It depends really on what it’s related to, and why you decided HeaderPressed was a good place to perform that action.

We can’t really tell you much about your own decisions, especially if you provide zero context.

Rename the column header comes to mind; I forgot others

Change the Background Colour (provided you have some mechanism to apply a background color).

I probably think at this trick since the heading area does not respond to right clicks (or ctrl-click).
