I wanted to share with the Xojo community first that our app we have had in development for Arista Networks technologies has been submitted to the MAS this week. Along with this Arista Networks (NYSE: ANET) published an article on our Xojo Built App. Once the Arista Navigator gets released I will post on the MAS thread.
I also want to point out that ALL of the Images and UI Design in this Arista Navigator app was done by our very own community member @RichardSummers (http://www.dev101.co.uk/)
Congratulations, Mike … that truly is great news for you and the entire Xojo Community! That kind of exposure will certainly go a long way in adding “legitimacy” to the usage of Xojo apps for more than just “small projects or hobbyists” (no due disrespect to all the hobbyists out there).
And kudos to you too, Richard … we’ve all seen how hard you’ve worked to hone your programming skills over time and it’s nice to see that pay off for you. Furthermore, it makes me reconsider growing my hair long and dyeing it bright orange … Heck, if it did the trick for you, I’m all in! ^^
You did catch that there was a presentation by these guys at XDC
See https://xojo.com/xdc/HTML/XDC_Schedule_2015.pdf Xojo Application Focus: Lightspeed, Philippe Casgrain and Yves Meynard
They’ve been a long time user and, from their presentation, their POS handled about 9 billion in sales last year for their users.
Not too shabby

I wasn’t at XDC this year AND THIS is majorly impressive!
