Getting text from html viewer text box into xojo textfield

I am using an HTMLViewer in order to display a map in a desktop app. What I cannot seem to figure out is how to pull info from one of the html elements into a control on xojo. Basically I can get the lat long of a point on the map loaded to a input text field in html, but I cannot get that text loaded to a textfield in xojo. Any Ideas?

Xojo really needs to implement the EvaluateJavaScript, but in the meantime you’ll need to do a kludge and change the document.title to the data you want and handle that event in Xojo…

I have been trying to figure out how to get the title into xojo and cannot seem to figure it out. Sorry, I have been working with xojo for just a couple of months and am a bit of a noob. I tested my js and am in fact changing the title of the page to what I want it to be, but I am not sure of the method to put in xojo to get it. Thanks

You can use either of those… If you are building strictly for Mac OS X there is code to do evaluation and you can bypass this kludge (MonkeyBread has it in their plugins for Mac OS X and Windows as well, not too certain about Linux though)…

Thanks so much Shao Sean, for some reason I decided to try to use it as a property and not an event. That was not working so well. But now I have it doing what I need!!

Good to hear… If you change the title/status to the same text, the event does not fire again, so I took to appending a random string to the end of the data to trigger the event(s) all the time…
