I’ve been looking through the docs, to see if there was a simple way I could figure out what Object2D is at a certain location, without having to step through all the objects and manually checking.
AFAIK that’s the only way to do it.
And that would only give you the center point… not the “area” it covers…or the location of specific shapes within.
You can get the size of the Object2D and the scale, so you can calculate the object position.
I’m liking the vector graphics and it will simplify the app I’m building; however it gets a bit more complicated when trying to find these objects and associate these with other data types. I’ve also found that drawing diagonal lines is terrible and so I’ll probably use CoreGraphics, for the interconnecting lines on a graphics class (OS X).
