file save corruption in 2017r1

I occasionally get a corruption when saving a source code file that leaves the source code size 28 bytes. This has happened many many times.
The contents of the file in hex is

52.62.42.46.00.00.00.02.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.1c.00.00.00.00.01.32.dc.40

Anyone else seeing this.

The first 4 bytes work out as RbBF which looks like RealBasic Binary Format, so it looks like it starts to write…

Are you using Dropbox?

Yes, I see this once a week or so. It’s a side effect of <https://xojo.com/issue/45418>. The memory Xojo uses goes up and up. The project is saved to a couple of bits and then Xojo crashes. Unfortunately, I seem to have been the only one with this issue and so it hasn’t even been looked at.

No Dropbox involved at all.
