I can not get the feedback system to work:
I click on Feedback and get a message:
The feedback system is not installed. Would you like to install it now?
I click on INSTALL and get the following message:
Feedback Installer Not Available. The Feedback Installer is missing. Do you want to download it?
I click on YES and nothing happens, the window closes but not other window is opened and I don’t see any indication anything is happening.
You could try a manual install.
- Go to www.xojo.com
- Click on ‘Download’ (near the top of the page)
- Click on ‘Extras’ (near the top right, in the Downloads section)
- Select and download the Feedback application for your platform
Once you have Feedback running, see if anyone else has reported this issue.
If not, please create a new case.
Remember to include which OS version you are using and steps to reproduce the issue.
I encountered this too. This works: If you have RS 2012r2, launch it.
In the Help menu, click the bottom item to launch feedback.
You’ll get a message that your current feedback system is out of date,
and then the same messages you saw earlier, inviting you to download and install
the feedback system – but this time your download will be successful.
You will end up with the new Xojo feedback system.
“Help” doesn’t work. The docs is taking forever to load…

It looks like the online docs are down temporarily, sorry. You can switch your IDE to use the local help in the preferences by setting “When seeking help:” to “Use built-in documentation”.
