Fastest HD cloning software for Windows ?

I have used HD Clone from Miray Software since 2010 to regularly backup my PC hard drive, but it takes forever ! Couple hours or so for a Terabyte.

The copy is perfect, so I am not complaining about the quality, but is there anything faster ?

You could try Clonezilla?

The solution that I prefer is Acronis True Image. The Home version is not too expensive. I doubt that it will be much faster than the solution you are using now. Moving a TB takes time. Often, the speed of the interface (SATA, etc.) is the bottleneck.

Is my tool of choice, but as Louis says, a TB takes time.
Bofore i also used Acronis True Image, but IMO with every new version of Windows a had to buy a new release from them.

depends also on hardware :
500Gb SSD to another SSD throught thunderbolt cable between two 2.7GHz imacs takes … half an hour !

I did not like Acronis pushiness forcing me to open an account to their cloud I did not want. At one point, one has to question the validity of the “ever more on the monkey’s back” model…

Indeed.

I use Shadow Protect from Storage Craft. It offers an automated incremental snapshot solution that works extremely well for me.
