Example of Pong or other simple game

Does anyone know of an example of Pong or another simple game?
I know nothing about graphics, collisions or sprites

If you haven’t already started design of your game, you should definitely look into the right tool for the job. Xojo is not a great game engine if you don’t already have all of the logic laid out in Xojo code. There are dozens of game engines that already implement the framework around a game in a much better way. Ignoring those tools is a waste of your own time.

That said, Paul’s got a whole lot about making a game.

there are lots of simple ( and not simple) examples here : https://forum.xojo.com/50254-just-code-challenge-submissions
including lots of games.

Thanks for the advice.
I like XOJO because I’ve been using it since 2007 and haven’t learned anything else.
I haven’t even kept up with C++. So, real game engines are out.

The Just Code Challenge Submissions has ten times more than I thought would be there. I hope they’re still there.
Especially Pong

Yeah, Asteroid Run is a great example why Xojo is not suited for games. Even a simple vertical shooter is not possible with a steady 60fps without any hiccups. Xojo is just not fit for this kind of things.
I even think getting a decent Pong (60fps) is a no-go.

I have a game of Pong. It is in development. It was kinda hard to create smooth ball movement. Drop me a PM and I’ll send you the project.
