The methods to create an instance of the Font Class are on PFDDocument and are not documented as shared methods. That implies imply the Font class instances produced are specific to that document…

But the Xojo AddFonts is a shared method which would imply the loaded fronts are NOT specific to a particular document so could be used fro multiple document once loaded…

So once loaded, are Einhugur Font class instances specific to a single PDFDocument instance, or could they be used with any PDFDocument Instance if one is creating multiple PDFDocs in the same app?

No their bound to the document. When their created then their added to the document.

How it is depends more on the PDF writer engine under the hood rather than how PDF spec it self is.
