Edit ListBox

How i edit the data on the listbox to then save all the change to the DataBase

Here’s a simple video walk thru that may help - http://sonicgenie.com/rbdev/db/

I use that method in the armyflightlogbook.com - where you select the row to be edited and it populates the text textboxes.

The sonicgenie video was a godsend for me learning about databases well worth a look if you’re not that familiar with databases (thank you Jay Jennings). I have arrived at the following conclusion (I’m sure the programming gurus will take issue with this but…) for small to medium databases that I work with - an editable listbox with a 3-5 level back “Undo” routine works well. So read your table into the listbox - Edit the listbox as required then rewrite the whole listbox as the table (in my case) as this means I am not making loads of calls to the database editing, finding the entry and so on…in my case easy enough to Drop Table and rewrite the whole table back in as the listbox. Also very easy to add new records/rename etc via the listbox avoiding another set of calls. I found this faster and (in my case) easier to deal with than taking each edit/entry etc as individual db operations. No doubt there are vacuums but the databases are not huge and querying a listbox is so much easier than querying a database imo.

how i do this
'ListBox1.ColumnType(5) = ListBox1.TypeEditable
'ListBox1.ColumnStyle

on a web App
