Does Xojo Use Threads/Multiple Cores to Build?

I just took delivery of a brand new MacBook Pro 13-inch and migrated from my 18-month old MacBook Air overnight. I thought that I’d see a material improvement in Build times in Xojo for my iOS framework app. But in a side-by-side test, the Air builds my app in 2:20 while the MBP only shaves 5 seconds off that build time. My 12-month old iMac does it in 2:10. All machines have 16Gb RAM and SSDs.

So I was wondering…does Xojo use threading for builds and can it support more than one core?

Unfortunately it doesn’t right now.

Thanks for responding Joe. It’s not a big issue for me as debug builds are pretty quick; just mildly disappointing.
