I tried searching for things in the documentation window in the IDE but it just says no results found.
No matter what I type in I keep getting “no results found”. It used to work but not now, not sure when it stopped working.

you should copy the documentation locally (it’s in the settings panel)
you try to access an actual web service with an old version of the app
anything can go wrong.
Documentation feature works every February 30th…
I was off line and get a 10s to 20s delay to get the page, then I get a “Uou are offline, download the Off Line documrntation or something likr this…)
No feedback when the documentaion is downloaded; this is a real issue.

Yeah, I if that was the case or if something went wrong on my end. I’ll have to copy it locally.
There was a bug until 2023r1 where the offline documentation required you to be online to search. #71581 - Searching the documentation doesn’t work when the computer is connected to a LAN but has no internet. Could that be related?
Maybe, though no issues with internet, so not sure.
If I had to make a wild guess, the online script that IDEs from the 2022 era require is now missing. You are not the first report of search failures, and I’ve just tested my 2022r2 install and it is unable to search as well.
I don’t believe there is anything you can do. You could file a ticket to try and get them to restore the required file, but it’s a long shot. All I can suggest is to use the online documentation since the fix is in 2023r1.

Some minutes later, you have to verify the page you were looking oreviously and issue Cmad-, and get the master page. Your page left… to keeu you page, click somewhere int the documentation page where there is no Link(s)
PS I am talking about Xojo 2025r1.1. (but many weird stuff exist previously)
It seems the search function is broken for whatever the reason so I’ll just have to use the online one (or use google or whatever) or just have to manually look for in the IDE’s documentation, that will be, um.. “fun”.

The Documentation window appears first, then I go to Settings and click in Install (I was offline- no internet available then) and I got that:
I close everything (except Xojo), ask for the Documentation and was able to get it !
