Do Not try To copy Control Sets Between Windows

I marked this as a regression because I believe it worked in REALStudio…

  1. New project
  2. In Window1 create a control set of 4 checkboxes Named SetMember
  3. Add a new Window to the project (Window2 if you jane no tried this already)
  4. Copy the control set from Window1 and paste in the new window

Expected Result:
In Window2 I should have 1 control set of 4 checkboxes with a name of SetMember with Indices 1-4

Actual Result:
For R2.1 In Window2 I have 4 controls sets named Checkbox1 , Checkbox2, Checkbox3, Checkbox4 with 1 member each and each has an index 1 less than it’s name.

Workarounds:
don’t do this

I have filed a report about a similar issue with trying to add members to a control set by duplication. Each duplication of a member creates a new control set :
36041 - Control set duplicate member creates new control set
