Do iOS Builds Run on the New iPod Touch?

I’ve searched around and can’t find any mention of the Touch here. The new ones have an A8 chip, and run iOS 8.4.

The latest iPod Touch should be able to run ALMOST any application that the iPhone5s can run… EXCEPT those that require the GPS and possible one or two other minor hardware gizmos (discounting the “phone” part itself of course)

I got an iPod Touch and am running the TipVue app on it right now. It works perfectly and looks great. The only flaw that I see is that in landscape mode, the nub on the slider extends below the bottom of the screen a little bit. So, the slider control is too close to the bottom.
