Difference between two instance of a timer

In a project i have two timers but they are different in the behavior section of the properties bar… Can someone explain me why ?

Specifically, you mean that the one on the left has InitialParent and TabPanelIndex? Is this a project that you converted from RealStudio?

mmm now that i think… yes it could be !

That would make sense. In Real Studio, Timers were treated like a RectControl whereas Xojo “attaches” them to a window without treating them like a control. It’s probably a leftover from the conversion.
