Demo: Sorting WebListBox

Quick demo of a header-click sorting WebListBox. This will be in the next Studio Stable Web Essentials.

When the demo loads in frame, click “List Box” in the top navigation control. The listbox has 110 rows. First column sorts alphabetically by numbers, so “109” will precede “11”. Second column sorts numerically by the numbers, so they’ll be sorted as you expect. Third column sorts alphabetically by the spelled out number words. Fourth column is random eight character strings, sorts alphabetically.

That’s 110 rows of data and it feels pretty snappy on modest server resources. I’ll have a new Web Essentials out Thursday afternoon, with all source code included of course.
