creating text fields with font changes etc..

I have a text area in my app. I can copy and paste the contents of simple word documents into it. When I do that, the format matches the word document…
the colors, the font and font sizes.

However, when I save that as a text file, I don’t get the formatting back. Is there an easy way to save this without losing the formatting and retrieving the formatting open opening?

If you save the “text” that is all you will save… just plain text…
The only way to save the formatting is to save the RTFData property, but because it contains the format information it is less “human readable”…
