Connect to a mysql 8 database

Hello all!

I’m trying to open a connection to a mysql 8 database and with the procedure I used for several years for older mysql, I get everytime an error 61.

I read around this forum that the built in plugin is able to connect to mysql8, but I can’t find how.

I created the user with the right privileges, and it works via phpmyadmin…

Do anyone have suggestions?

Seems unreachable, check configs, check ports, check firewall…
