Command-F for Find - hijacked in threads but not in lists?

It seems that when looking at a list of threads, Command-F (mac/Safari) triggers the normal Safari “find on page” behavior.

But inside a thread, it seems that discourse is hijacking it, putting up a custom search dialog, which I hate.

Can this be disabled?

Edit to add: hmm, it’s even weirder than that. In a short thread, Command-F still works normally. It seems that the thread has to be long enough before the override Command-F dialog shows up. That just makes it more annoying! I suspect this is related to “infinite scroll” behavior?

Same thing with Mac/Firefox.

Apparently it is a Discourse thing :slight_smile: - try hitting it twice and it should get you the browser search (i.e. CTRL-F + CTRL-F)
