I just noticed that with 10.10.3 (here), I got a x, - or + if the Mouse cursor is above either one of the three left colored icons (red, orange/yellow and green).
Do you get the same ?
Is this 10.10.3 only ?
Here only ?
BTW: even if I found that nice to see, it seems strange to me to get that.
The icons have been there for quite some time, but the new change with 10.10 is the green icon will either be the plus symbol or the full screen symbol… If the window doesn’t support full screen, it will be the plus symbol… If the window does support full screen you will see the full screen symbol and then holding the Option key will change it to the plus symbol…
