Care to share your xojo themes?

Now in 2016 r3, you can export and import your colour schemes. If anyone is interested and feels they have chosen a well refined colour scheme, post a link below.

Thanks

Have a look at http://libertyapp.com/xojothemes too, it has some built in ones

I currently use the Basic theme. I’m considering converting over the theme I use with Chocolat, but I think the rest of the Xojo interface will be too light to work with it.

There are some themes at that you might like. The Xojo IDE imports and exports XojoThemes compatible files (and just a reminder that XojoThemes 2 is for Windows too).

Edit: Tim beat me to it

I’m hoping that the IDE opens up a bit more of the interface to be themed as it’s being improved/revamped in 2017.

From the Release Notes:

20580 IDE » Miscellaneous IDE can import and export color schemes as XML (from the Coding preference pane).

Really ?

I have to thanks Oliver for its decrypt of that entry of the Release Notes, and send a Booooooo! to Xojo for issuing crypted Release Notes.

What do you mean? The release notes are easily accessible. A bit rude to say booo.

I have now realized that downloading these themes, although they look good in the code screen it looks bad with the rest of Xojo. But thanks for sharing the content at XojoThemes page. It maybe looks better on Mac but not so nice on my PC, sorry to say.

At least for the one that I picked. I will look at a lighter theme.

It’s really nice if we can change UI color too. Hard to work with current IDE in the system with dark theme.

That’s the problem I’m facing with my Chocolat theme. It’s very dark, but the rest of the IDE is themed light so it kind of visually conflicts. It’s not a major issue, I just use a lighter theme to keep my eyes happy.

My favorites are Sunset and Dusk. But yeah, there’s only the code editor that can be themed and even then, not as many tokens can be themed as I’d like.

The presentation theme is the best one, I tried so far IMHO. Happens to be your theme Gavin.

Sunset is actually a nice one too but not sure if I really like the way the beige background looks against the rest of the IDE.

That’s not differ too much from the original one
