I believe most (if not all) ActiveX/COM objects out there today are OLE 2.0 objects. However, specifically you’re probably asking if our ActiveX/COM containers support something like OleLink (http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/windows/desktop/ms682297(v=vs.85).aspx), and that we do not.

We’d need to add that ability to our OLEContainer, otherwise you could implement your own OLEContainer (not trivial), so best bet is to file a feature request for it.
