Build Folder for Debug

Sorry: I was searching Clearing Cache when I found that entry: Build unsaved apps in:.

Go far above for the screen shot (or must I copy it a second time ?)

The menu was a memory misleading direction. When I realized that I was wrong, I go back and see my entry from 2 days ago (entry 11). I explained there how I found it. (pure hazard)

Ok, so there are not two places to clear caches; that’s what seemed strange to me.

My turn to ask: where else can we clear the Xojo Cache in Xojo ?
Yes, the long run using the Finder, but beside that ?

I don’t think there are two places for that. Only the one in the settings.

Emile is misunderstanding that this:

and this:

are the same.

One is for Debug (builds) and the other is for Builds (standalone).

I setup Debug to Desktop/debug_builds and Unsaved builds to Desktop/not_saved_builds:

when I run the application (Debug build) I get this:

and if I Build an unsaved app, I get this:

I hope this helps Emile.

I do not build an application since… my Intel laptop screen stopped to work.

So, yes I certainly misunderstand what is what.

And… can you explain the use of setting an application build in Xojo ?

My build application may just be that: a build. I can move it to another computer, on a Windows Computer, send it to someone / upload somewhere. It is not necessary the final, “relisable” application.
That is probably why I do not understand these are two different things.

Sorry for the misleading, and one more thank for that information.
