Blues !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well done
Beat the Bruins convincingly in the Bruins home stadium

Blues? Peter Frampton just released a new Blues album “All Blues”

Something tells me we’re on different wavelengths …

NHL Hockey
St Louis Blues wont the Stanley Cup IN Boston
Played a nearly perfect road game and just took the game over
Was a fun one to watch

I knew what you meant, just being a smart Alec.

Alex :stuck_out_tongue:

And tomorrow night I believe the Toronto Raptors will win the NBA finals

We’re a Baseball house. Locked into the D-Backs. Nice sweep of the Jays last week.

base what ?

I somestimes watched hockey (the variation without ice) in my old house. The national league played just in front of the house. 50 -100 people were there for a national league play. So not very popular. TSV Schott from the glassmaker company.

Hockey - A fight where a game occasionally breaks out

the entire playoffs had almost no fights - none in any of the games I watched which is surprising to be honest
its fast, hard hitting, and a ton of skill involved
unlike most sports winning the championship if 4 rounds of 7 game series
the league likes to tout it as the “toughest trophy to win in all of professional sports”

My Neighbor is really into the “AHL”??? … and I guess our own San Diego Gulls lost out in their 4 out of 7 finals

We track the Coyotes here, as well, but they let us down every season. Our minor league Roadrunners are better games to go see.

I’d like to see Gretsky run the 1-1/8 Mile at Churchhill Downs with a short guy on his back …

AHL is pretty decent - usually guys trying to get into the pro’s

stick that horse on skates and see how he fairs :stuck_out_tongue:

Gretzky is mid 50’s now so I doubt that will happen

and the horse does that race - once

Blues :frowning: A rugby team based in Auckland that doesn’t win often.

California is too hot to win…

I do admire the way the losing team stays on the ice after the crushing season ending loss to go through the traditional handshaking between teams before they leave. I don’t know of any other major sport where this occurs.

Most of the guys know each other and even hang out together in the off season
But put them on opposite teams and they play hard against each other

I think that is the case with all the major pro team sports today - especially with free agency where players no longer stay with a team for a whole career. What is different in hockey is that the team that has had their season long goal crushed stays on the ice and watches the victors celebrate. Then they politely line up to shake each players hand. THAT you don’t see in any other sport. At least none I know.
