Background noise

Hi guys,
I’ve noticed that I work better at coding with background noise, like the noise in a cafe, but not too loud. Is there any websites that provides workable background noise? Can you guys suggest one or two?
Many thanks!

there is an app for your iOS device called coffitivity. the website is https://coffitivity.com

Web site, no app (even there is an app): https://www.noisli.com/

You could also try looking for ‘white noise’, plenty of apps and CDs of this.

If you prefer a lower frequency you could try ‘pink noise’.

Personally I prefer as little noise as possible when coding. If I’m considering the layout, ie. adding some “fairy dust” then a few beers combined with loud music certainly helps.

Cheers.

Just look in youtube for “xxxxx background noise” where xxxxx is where you want to be.

not a web site but I had a CD (remember those) of Spring Peepers (little frogs) that just played endlessly for the background noise. When my office was in the house, it drove my wife nuts…

Here’s one that is awesome. I liked it so much that I paid the subscription.

They even have one that is “Cafe Restaurant”. Plus you can mix and match channels. Mix the Cafe Restaurant with a gentle rain shower?
