Applescript in a WebApp

I am unable to call a simple compiled AppleScript from the app or the session level of a stand-alone webapp. I’ve found nothing about it in Feedback or on the Forum. Is this a known shortcoming?

Just tried it with the Monkeybread Applescript plugin, that works.

File a bug report if you’d like to see it fixed. Just keep in mind that AppleScript might require a WindowServer connection, making it unusable from a launchd daemon (which is what I’d expect Mac web apps to be deployed as).

Thanks Joe, I’ll do that. BTW what I’m working on is something personal for the family so I’ll just be launching in manually and Christian’s plugin is doing the job so far, no problem. See you in Vegas !
