I thought these were supposed to last for 5 years?
I just got emails saying my

  • IOS Distribution Certificate
  • Mac Installer Certificate
  • Mac Development
  • Mac App Distribution
    will all expire in 30 days… and when I look online, sure enough, Jul 23,2017

What it doesn’t say it how to extend them

  • Revoke the current one and hope I can make a new one?

Those are all for the Mac App Store, which do expire at the 1 year date. You do not need them for non-MAS distribution.
Check Keychain Access.app for your "Developer ID Application: " and "Developer ID Installer: " certificates, those are your third party (or in AppWrapper “Website Deployment”) certificates, which should be good for 5 years.
