Apple commissions on App Store

Why if I sell my App to 18,99 Euro, Apple pays me only 10,99 Euro? Apple did not take the 30%? 10.99 on 18.99 are about 43%…

I believe that for European Customers, the price of the VAT is inclusive in the sales price to the final customer. The difference you see is VAT.

first remove 19% VAT for Germany.
21% in italy, right?

The VAT in Italy is 22%
18,99 Euro - 30% (Apple) = 13,29 Euro
13,29 Euro - 22% (Italy VAT) = 10,37 Euro
It is not correct

18,99 Euro -30% (Apple) - 17,5% (I don’r know) = 10,97 Euro… Why?

Tier 20 is € 19.99. Not € 18.99. Check the App Store.

Applying first the 22% VAT, then the 30% Apple cut, makes € 10.91. It is closer. Actually you get 6 extra cents.

I checked.
My App price is 18.99 €, Apple give me 10.99.

Check the list of price for Italy, check price 19.

Not 10.99 but 10.90, even less…

18.99/1.22*0.7 = 10.8959
So roughly 10.90, which is correct.
Many people don’t get it right when calculating/deducting VAT. The end consumer price (here 18.99) is not 100% but 122%.

@Alex von Siebenthal you’re right!
Thanks!
