The message is: "this card may not be use for make payment"or "We notice that you are attempting to pay an Indian resident user. The payment you initiated has been blocked. PayPal only facilitates international payments and cannot be used for domestic payments within China. " I am sure that my paypal accont is verified with approved bank account added. Why this still happen and what should I do?Anyone here can provide any alternative payment method which is available in China? No fees and instantly move to our wallets! Payza and Payoneer is out of my consideration due to its high fee.I searched over internet and found [https://www.epay.com](https://www.epay.com) was available in China and it’s always free to pay and get paid. Is it really true? Anyone has tried it here?

I think Alibaba has a subsidiary that does the same as paypal.

There was a post about Alipay here :

t seems the OP succeeded using it in Xojo.

I suspect this may be a disguised spam or phishing attempt. There are some contradictions in the post. So don’t click on the link.

Don’t know about Irene Brant, but it is all the more important to point to an alternative to epay. Especially since that provider which seems surrounded by homonyms, mostly small, does not provide any API that would help automate sales. IMHO, Alipay is way more professional.

About [https://forum.xojo.com/23044-convert-php-code-to-xojo-web](https://forum.xojo.com/23044-convert-php-code-to-xojo-web) :
Contrary to usual spammers, @Tunghua TAi has been active in the forum, posting questions mainly about Xojo Web. I think he is quite legitimate. I did investigate at the time of the post I linked to as a way for me to boost my business eventually. Alipay is indeed the Chinese equivalent of Paypal. It would be nice to see if he got it working from Xojo Web.

Up to now I haven’t decided to go further, since I see little market in China for Roman script fonts and MICR check writing stuff. Maybe in Hong Kong but as far as I can tell they have no problem using Paypal there.

For other programmers, it could be a wise move to target the Chinese market and its 74.5 million iPhones sales for first quarter 2015 alone.

Through SIX Payment Services, it seems one could also accept Chinese UnionPay credit card.

It seems to be the only domestic bank card organization in PRC:

With Xojo Webapps we use Six Saferpay e-commerce API, in order to accept creditcards.

Interesting. Although the OP problem is to accept payments within PRC :
The payment you initiated has been blocked. PayPal only facilitates international payments and cannot be used for domestic payments within China. "
.

Not sure any non Chinese payment processor would be able to solve her problem.

Not according to PayPal China, which is one reason I am suspicious about the post.

Paypal works the same in China as it does in every other country. The Paypal website says “Paypal is fully localized for China.” They accept Chinese bank accounts, cards, addresses and even RMB payments. They offer two types of account: An RMB only account for payments within China, and a Global account for payments in any paypal accepted currency world wide. Whatever the initial post, it is still an interesting topic. I am a strong proponent of Paypal who has been a great partner for me since the onset, but when in Rome …

Paypal is one of the most expensive payment processors I’ve encountered
Convenient yes - but their rates are extremely high (nearly double) compared to others that my store uses
Plus they double dip if you have to change currencies. They charge you a fee for the currency exchange then apply a fee for the transaction.

In regard to double dipping, PayPal still turns out to be cheaper than a wire transfer for foreign currency for me o.O

depending on the size of the transfer I suppose it might be
up to about 1500 paypal is cheaper
after that “exhorbitant” becomes the operative word in my experience

I get paid monthly via wire transfer as paypal wanted a fee thats \> 20x what the wire costs in total

Paypal is like Apple : some love it, some hate it. Few in between.

Before Paypal I went through 5 or 6 different Merchant Services who all ended up kicking me out because I had too many chargebacks. I happen to sell software that crooks love to grab using stolen credit cards. Contrary to a physical shop, I have no way to ask to see ID or examine the card. Paypal never let me down. Sure, that means higher charges. But also peace of mind.

It cannot be worse than Digital River anyway.
