# Any improvements over 2015 r2.2?

I havent upgraded and let my “paid” status expire. What I’m running now runs “ok”. Any recent upgrades to the IDE, specifically, is the flickering still there when editing an app’s GUI interface that makes the 2.2 --\> whatever the latest is, worth it?

you can simply install newest version parallel to old version and try yourself.

WOW… _lots_ of changes. Time to download and test. Just reading the release notes, its probably worth the renewal.

It’s been a _huge_ 12 months in general for Xojo. 2015r3 was the biggest release I can remember.
