[ANN] Arbed 1.7 for Xojo released

I’m happy to announce that I’ve released version 1.7 of Arbed, the special editor for Real Studio and Xojo projects.

Version 1.7 has a more secure support for Xojo’s textual (VCP) project files.

Arbed’s most valuable ability is to compare and merge two projects, no matter in which format (binary, xml or vcp) they are, and showing the differences in a much more structured way then what you get when you compare it using a plain text comparison tool.

Arbed also integrates well as a compare tool with several version control tools such as SmartGit/Hg, SmartSvn, Tower, SourceTree and others.

Some of Arbed’s features are free to use while others, more advanced, require a license purchase.
