Animation classes for Xojo?

Has anybody made an animation class, where I can simply load an array of images and/or a spritesheet to animate through frames at a particular speed? Obviously for Xojo.

Thanks

look for Michel Bujardet’s solution in this thread:

I knew there was something I forgot. That was Thom’s animation kit and I have already used it in my project before. But I am trying to achieve something very different to what I have already been using it for.

You can still use it for frame-based animation. See AKFrameTask. You give it a sprite sheet and a duration, and it can do the rest.

You can take a look at the Slideshow control if that’s what you are looking for:

It takes an array of images and displays an animation while transitionning from one picture to another.

I gave it a try already. The AKAnimationCanvas is perfect for what I am trying to do. It is pretty simple.

No thanks. Thom’s animation kit works great for this and its free.
