I have “reverse engineered” (okay hacked) the Adobe Lightroom Catalog which is just a SQLite database. I have a document that more or less defines the structure and notes how I access the info.
If anyone is interested, I would be happy to share.

As odd as it may be, I would be interested.
The Apple “Photos” library is also an SQLite database; trouble is it’s encrypted to make sure that us 3rd Party Developers can’t do anything with it.
I HATE Apple Photos. You can’t delete it. You can’t disable it. Every time I plug in a image card, it launches Photos. If you click the checkbox to not open for this device, if you reformat the card, it starts all over again. I HATE Apple Photos.
I’ve tried to figure out a way to corrupt the file so it can’t run but haven’t figured it out yet. At least any way that’s safe.
