Though you guys might find this helpful… While troubleshooting an iOS project over the weekend, I stumbled on a free utility for viewing the iOS console logs directly from your Mac without the need for X-Code:

Just launch the app and plug in your device(s). Now when you run, you have a live console window to view.
It’s also handy if you need a customer to give you a crash log. FWIW, I found it because the folks over at OmniGroup are suggesting its use: https://support.omnigroup.com
