Some days ago (and I forgot), I get a number in the Xojo application icon while I was running (or ?) a project in the IDE.
What does this means (even if I have an idea)
and
How do I get the message ?
TIA

MBS Plugins have DockTileMBS class for this.
see
http://www.monkeybreadsoftware.net/class-nsdocktilembs.shtml
e.g. like this:
dim d as NSDockTileMBS = NSApplicationMBS.sharedApplication.dockTile
if d<>nil then
// this works in Carbon and Cocoa applications
d.badgeLabel = “Hello”
d.showsApplicationBadge = true
end if
It’s the number of unread messages being provided by the IDE. At the very bottom of the IDE there is a bar with three icons. The third icon, which looks similar to a WiFi icon, is the one for messages. Click it and the messages pane will appear.
Thanks all.
Now I know where to search for that !
