3D File IO Tutorial

There is a new tutorial available at Xojo3D.com. In this tutorial we explore how to store 3D assets (models) to disk.

The tutorial also introduces a new open file format specification, branded the X3 Data Format, for storing 3D assets, which could potentially be used in your games, 3D applications or as a means to share 3D assets with fellow Xojo 3D enthusiasts. The specification is still at a very basic stage (only static models are supported at present), but we plan to expand the specification in due time. A special thanks to Joe Astrahan for his suggestions to improve the format.
