2017 R2.1 Project templates

It seems the project templates are not shown anymore in the File -> New Project screen on macOS.
Can anyone confirm this?

No, on El Capital, I have the three of them.

Xohjo 2017r2.1

Show up fine here on Sierra too.

Do you have the Templates folder next to the IDE?

I downloaded the ide, run it and select the project templates item, none show but they are in the folder of the dowbloaded xojo

Sp greg, yes it’s next to the ide.

What do you mean by none show ?

I never saw one, I just use it.

They do seem to appear on my iMac but not on my MacBook

OK:

usual suspects: clears the Xojo cache (Linrary:Cache) and Xojo sandard folder (Application Support), download back Xojo, reinstall it…

Will try, it’s not that much of a deal.

Probably Xojo is quarantined on that Mac. Do examples show? Are plugins loading?

If not you can manually clear the quarantine flag. Info here:

xattr -d com.apple.quarantine Xojo.app

http://developer.xojo.com/kb/os

Translocation baby; Apple’s new security illusion.

Add a new user, download a brand new xojo dmg, install it looking what happens…

(I understand now “none show”, sorry)

I cleaned the caches, project templates came back and the flickering is gone.

That didn’t fix it
